Is there a minimum age to have a Vircle VISA Card?

Vircle is built for families and raising money-smart kids. There is no minimum age to sign up for Vircle Club Member and obtain a Vircle VISA Card, however, we recommend starting your children in their financial literacy journey from the age of 7.

How do I get a Vircle VISA card for my child?

Before proceeding to register your child for a Vircle VISA card, you need to complete the following:

1. Register for a parent account. Steps to do so here - https://www.vircle.com/register-parent-account 
2. Complete premium wallet upgrade from top-up screen. 
3. Add your child as a supplementary user. Steps to do so here - https://www.vircle.com/add-child

After the steps above are done, let's begin! To register your child for a Vircle VISA card, follow the steps below: 
1. From your child’s profile page, select “Manage Cards”. 
2. Tap on “Apply for VISA Prepaid Card”. 
3. Tap on “Select Card & Subscription Type”. 
4. Fill in your child’s preferred cardholder name (max. 16 characters) 
5. Select the payment plan (monthly or annual) 
6. Fill in your shipping address. 
7. Tap on confirm. Your card fee will be deducted from your wallet and you will be issued a virtual card on the spot as we work on a physical card to be shipped to you.

What is the maximum wallet size for Vircle VISA prepaid card?

The maximum wallet size that a user can hold at any time for Vircle VISA prepaid card is RM 10,000 and no transaction may exceed this amount.

What is the daily and monthly transaction limit?

Vircle VISA prepaid cards have a daily transaction limit of RM10,000.00 while the monthly transaction limit is RM120,000.00.

How long does it take for my child's prepaid Visa card to arrive?

I just received my Vircle VISA prepaid card, what should I do?

Congratulations on receiving your Vircle VISA prepaid card! First thing you need to do is activate your Vircle VISA card. Here's how:
1. Login to your Vircle app.
2. Tap on your child's profile page.
3. Tap on “Manage Card” 
4. Select “VISA Card”.
5. Select “Activate Card”.
6. Scan card or enter card details. 
7. Create ATM and Spending PIN.

Please note: To activate contactless payments, make your first purchase using Chip & PIN.

How much can I withdraw from an ATM per day and per month?

Accepted Answer

The maximum amount that can be withdrawn from an ATM per card per day is RM5,000.

A fee of RM2.00 is charged per withdrawal at local ATMs, while a fee of RM10.00 or 2% of withdrawal amount (whichever is higher) is charged per withdrawal at overseas ATMs. Nevertheless, make sure you double-check fees associated with certain ATMs before you withdraw any cash as they may charge you extra (as levied by their respective banks).

Where can my child use their Vircle VISA card?

Your child can use their Vircle VISA card at any merchant that accepts Visa.

Question 11

What if my child loses his/her Vircle VISA card?

Accepted Answer

If your child has lost her card, do not panic. Follow these steps: 
1. Freeze your card while you confirm that your card is lost. 
2. If it is indeed lost, please proceed to “Manage Card” and tap on “Lost Card” in the app. 
3. Your existing card will be permanently blocked.  
4. Payment of RM10 will be deducted from your wallet. 
5. Confirm the shipping address for your new card. 
6. Once a card is permanently blocked, the process cannot be reversed. If you should find your lost card again, please destroy it.

Important note:
If the lost card was a Minions Visa Card, the replacement will be a Basic Vircle Visa Card. Minions Visa Cards cannot be reissued.

Will existing Vircle Club Annual Members receive a free Minions Visa Card?

Accepted Answer

If you previously subscribed to the Vircle Club Annual Plan and received a free Basic Vircle Visa Card, you will need to cancel your current membership and re-subscribe to the Vircle Club Annual Plan to get a Minions Visa Card.

Please note: The remaining value of your current Annual Plan will not be refunded or prorated.
