The account balance shown under Allocated to Family indicates the total amount of funds that has been given to your child as allowances. This is in the form of your kids’ total savings and spending account.
The Available Balance shows how much money from your eWallet you can still allocate to your family or children.
For example, you have RM1,000 loaded into your parent eWallet. You allocate RM200 to your child; your Available Balance will show RM800.

Allowance Given: Whenever you approve an allowance for your child to spend, the amount is set aside in the allowance given bucket. Available Balance: Available balance in the parent dashboard is a summary of how much money from your ewallet you can still allocate to your family or children.

With Vircle's Savings Goals we've made it easier for you to enable your child to establish responsible savings habits by setting Savings Goals to save for specific purposes - such as a new bicycle, phone, game, or adventures!
Parents move their money from their Parent eWallet Available Balance to a child’s General Savings. Think of General Savings as a piggy bank.
Your child can now create savings goals with their target amount and save by the dates set. Vircle automatically updates their goals on a weekly basis, moving money from General savings into goals automatically.
Parents can approve completed goals by paying out completed goals as Cash (outside Vircle) or as a Spend Anywhere allowance (inside Vircle).
- 145
Using Vircle Savings is as simple as a 4-step process.
i. Parent uses the “Transfer” option to “Transfer In” money from Parent eWallet Available Balance account to Child’s “General Savings”. Think of General Savings as a piggy bank with money.
ii. Child may set Savings goals with Parents or Parents may set Goals for Child using the “Create Goal” Option. Key in the goal details such as “Goal Name”, “Save by date” and you may add a picture to this goal as well. Once that is done, your child’s Goal is live and running.
iii. Now, it’s time to let Vircle do its magic! Every 7 days, Vircle will automatically move money from General Savings to each Goal. Your Child’s Goal grows automatically as long as there is enough money in their General Savings.
iv. When a goal has been completed, as a Parent you will be prompted to “Approve” and select how the goal is paid out. When you choose Pay as cash, you should give your child physical money and the goal amount is then released back to your Parent eWallet Available Balance. If you set the payout as “Give as Cash Allowance” the Goal amount will transfer to your child’s Spending Account as a “Spend Anywhere” Allowance.
- 146
Note: Please make sure you have transferred enough money into your child’s General Savings account before you create a goal.
i. Navigate to your child's profile page.
ii. Tap on the Savings tile.
iii. Click on "Create New Goal."
iv. From the Savings Goal screen, input what the goal is for, the amount and date to save by.
v. Click "Create Goal" and you are good to go!
To edit a current Savings Goal:
i. Click on the Savings Goal you would like to edit.
ii. Click on the edit icon at the top right of the page.
iii. From this screen you can change the name of the Savings Goal, the goal amount, date to save by and delete the Savings Goal if necessary.
- 147
Once your goal has been created, every 7 days, Vircle automatically moves money from your child's general savings account to each goal.
Example: If your Goal is to save RM 100 across 4 weeks, each week, RM 25 is transferred from General Savings into this goal, until it reaches RM 100. This is done automatically.
- 148
Yes, you can! To do so:
i. Tap on the goal you want to boost
ii. As a parent, you will be allowed to transfer IN money into a specific goal. You will be allowed to boost up to a maximum of the balance of the Goal. Example: If a Goal is RM 100, and it has already RM 50 via auto save, you may Boost up to RM 50 which will then complete the goal.
- 149
As a parent, you will need to approve Goals that are completed.
a. All completed Goals will be visible with a green box next to it that says “Approve”
b. When you select “Approve”, we will prompt you on how you will like to payout this Goal. There are 2 options:
i) Pay as Cash – This is done outside Vircle. If you select this option, the money
locked up in this goal is released back to your Parent eWallet, Available balance account.
ii) Pay as Cash Allowance – This transfers the Goal amount from your child’s Savings to Spending Account as a Spend Anywhere Cash Allowance.
- 150
To transfer money out from your child’s Savings into your parent eWallet:
From your child’s savings tab, tap on the “Transfer” option.
Select the “Transfer Out” tab.
Enter the amount you would like to transfer out.
Click on confirm.
Done! Your money has been moved out of your Child’s General Savings into your Parent eWallet Available Balance account.
*Please note, if your child has active goals ongoing, the weekly auto-save will not work if there isn’t enough money in their General Savings account.

At the moment, we do not allow a second parent/provider to scan and add a child into their Vircle friend list. Once a child has been scanned and added into 1 providers' Vircle application, the system would not allow them to be scanned and added into a 2nd Vircle application.
This is done to safeguard your Childs' security as we do not want a 3rd party person in future to add your child to their application and have access to your child's information. This has been the current mandate from a regulations point of view.

Childhod Obesity and Malnourishment is one of the biggest challenges of modern day with up to 1.65M Malayian kids and up to 30% of Asian kids expected to be Obese or malnourished by 2025. There is ample literature showing that this has direct impact on academic achievement of kids in schools.
The founders are parents of young children too and we felt its a big enough problem to quiet over 20 years of our corporate careers and invest all our live savings to look into this issue.
We wish to address this problem by helping parents gain insights into eating habits of children in school, followed by other powerfull analytics and guidance which impact a kids academic acheivements.
thus far, this has been a challenge to researchers and clinicians due to the following;
1- lack of entry points to collect data which helps detect children's eating habits and nutrition intake early on to predict and give parents early indication of problems to come.
2- lack of an entry point to guide parents into corrective actions early on to build healthy eating and nurturing habits, inclusive of financial literacy for the young. Parents usually turn to help when their kids show symptoms but usually there are time bound signs which can be picked up by our AI engine which we train based on the food consumption of kids.
3 - General lack of awareness of what is right and wrong. Proactive education.
Hence we built a cashless solution which is NOT just focussed on cashless but one which works with our Partner schools to analyze all food items being sold in school, nutrition content of those food and eating habits of kids which may have long term impact of a Childs' well being. This is then profiled against the Ministry of Healthy Recommended Nutrition Intake which is tailored to your Childs age, gender, BMI value etc.

Vircle brings expert nutritionists to review and grade every food item sold in your child's school canteen. We collect many nutrition details and nutrition content through these grading. To begin with, we provide a nutrition score display back to parents using what is called the Food Traffic light rating.
The Traffic Light ratings are an internationally recorgnized model and tells you if a product is low (green), medium (amber), or high (red) in these food components, based on widely-accepted nutritional standards.
Red – indicates a less healthy choice; fine for an occasional treat, but think about how often you choose it and how much of it you eat.
Amber – this choice is OK, but going for choices labelled green is better.
Green – a healthier choice."

Many everyday school foods can be high in salt, fat (including saturated fat) and sugar. They can also be high in energy (kilojoules), thanks to growing portion sizes. All these factors can contribute to health problems like obesity, hypertension (high blood pressure), type 2 diabetes and high blood cholesterol. In turn, these can lead to a greater risk of heart attack, stroke and some cancers. These conditions develop during childhood and would be even worse during adulthood. Making even small changes to our diets, like consuming less salt, sugar, fat (especially saturated fat) and energy (kilojoules), can prevent many of these health problems.
